The Course
The course. The course was short and sweet (winning time of 1 min 15 secs),
not technical but quite fast in places and extremely slow in others. It
was enough to keep you on your toes.
From the start you sprinted for about 200m over some roots and ruts until a little jump and a right turn and down over a track and into a compression (the spectators spot). After
this came a bit of an annoying bit that went down a slope round to the
right and through two tight trees which I managed to hit every run.
Followed by a boggy bit over a lump and a little stream, out on to a main
track with a short sprint into the last section. This went over two lumps,
an off camber section over two logs and then a three foot high jump type
thing into a hole with the bottom of a fallen tree in it. From here it was round to the left bunny hop over a side ways log and
sprint down over another sideways log and into the finish.

We never done a Remec Super Series race but it was really well organised,
it was all live timing so you knew your position and time as soon as you
got to the bottom. The entry price was £14 so it was well worth entering. We shall be
entering a few more races in this series. Stu needed to tighten his dropouts and disc obviously forgotten on his pre-ride checks, either that or he thought a Super 8 came with a
floating calliper. On a team note. Stu's first win!
