Burms are banked corners, they enable you to hit a turn at high speed and also more importantly to be able to carry that speed with you when you exit that corner. You should try and get your self and the bike at right angles to the burm, see Craig in the picture. Simple really, the hardest thing is getting your entry and exit points correct, they should flow naturally. Don't look at the burm as you rail through it look ahead where you are going and don't forget to put the power on. If your not happy pedalling keep that out side foot down and relax, don't forget to look at the exit point of the burm and beyond as you sail through at mach 10.
