What ever happend to KIS ?

Back in 1999 KIS Promosport was the first UK Duel or BSX race series. The National Series was also run at the same venue. BDRA was the governing organization and still is.

We took a visit and a fun day was had by all, the famous gap jump picture is still mtb-freeride's signature photo (Free downloads). Thanks Luke, and if your reading this get back on a bike.

The course was in Gloucestershire near Stroud and was run by Graham and Sheila Foot, but alas it is no more even the old website is dead.

The Last I heard

However do not despair, from the ashes rose KIS 2, that got binned to.

Not to be kept down though they recovered and are still going strong. They as yet have no venue but with Grahams determination I'm sure a world beater will be pulled out of the bag.

The latest from their new website is -

"As of 10/01/03 KIS does not have a venue yet, but, this will change soon as we are scouring the countryside for a permanent location where we can do what we always said we would, build the UK's best dirt-bike-park bar none, just be patient like us. It'll be worth the wait."

The new website is worth a look to find out what's going on, if your into BSX you've probably already been there.

The Latest

Whilst updating the site I checked kinks and found that the KIS website is no more, gone the same way as the original. If KIS is still out there drop me a line so I can update.

The Present (email from the man himself Graham Foot)

Hi guys, just spotted the kis stuff on your site and thought i'd better drop you a line. I am still well up for doing another bike park but at the mo have no land available but am looking again, also well up for helping with stuff should you need a digger driver with an eye for a track or three, thats what i do now, drive diggers.

Also got a small shop, slam69.co.uk but it's just a stop gap till i find a place to relocate. allfanow anyway and your freeride park looks well sorted, nice one, must come play sometime soon.
grm.

Thanks for getting in touch Graham, hope you find some land soon. :) If you do be sure to let us know.
